When Trini Revellers decided to pay tribute to legendary mas band leaders of yesteryear,

a band designed by Wayne Berkeley became an obvious choice.

The decision to depict Secrets of the Sky was made a few months before his untimely death.

Unfortunately we were not able to meet and discuss our concepts with him.

Secrets of the Sky was the first of his nine band of the year titles and was done in collaboration

with Bobby Ammon. The band had sections such as: Goddess of Dawn, Spiral Galaxy,

Storm Clouds and Venus Goddess of Beauty to name a few.

In addition to the Band of the Year and People's Choice titles, Secrets of the Sky won

both the King and Queen of Carnival with Colin Edghill portraying the Jupiter Superstar

and Vera Ammon portraying Look for a Silver Lining.
